Giving Tuesday at BFPL

Between the generosity of donors and thousands of hours of volunteer efforts, we were able to reopen our doors this year to a beautifully renovated library. We expect we’ll be serving your great-grandchildren well into the next century.

While Phases I and II of construction are complete, our fundraising for daily operations and programs never stops. The library operates largely through your support and generosity, as the voted appropriations from our four member towns cover about half of our annual operating needs. The rest comes through our annual appeal, special donations, our “Friends” group, and grants.

We ask on this Giving Tuesday that if you’re able, to make a donation to help us continue running and maintaining our diverse lineup of programming. Just recently our Woody Guthrie talk and VT Forest Cemetery presentation pulled in record numbers. We couldn’t have done that without you!
